Two major open nature areas allow. Marsh haven nature center offers almost three miles of hiking trails that wind through prairie, woodland, and wetland habitat. Encompassing more than 30,000 acres, horicon marsh has much to offer including the horicon marsh paddle trail, horicon “ternpike” auto tour and hiking trails, highway 49 wildlife viewing area, old marsh road, bud cook hiking area, horicon national wildlife refuge visitor center, and marsh haven nature center.

With more than 51 horicon trails covering 620 miles, you’re bound to find a perfect trail like the levee trail (portage) or peebles trail.
